Our Journey · Toledo, Ohio

From humble beginnings to heartfelt journeys.

Heal Space was started from a passion to help people in recovery — by providing a place where they can heal and rebuild their lives. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, our mission is to enhance the wellbeing of people in recovery and create a positive impact on the Toledo community.

Our Mission

Recovery housing built on community, not control.

Heal Space Recovery was created to fill a real gap in Toledo: structured, community-driven sober living for adults who are ready to do the work of long-term recovery — but who don't fit a one-size-fits-all program.

As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, every dollar raised goes back into the people we serve — into safer homes, deeper community, and longer-lasting recovery in Toledo and across northwest Ohio.

We believe healing happens when people are surrounded by care, purpose, and connection. Each resident is encouraged to grow, set goals, and rediscover their potential.

Our Values

What we stand for

These values align with our mission to enhance the wellbeing of people in recovery and to create a positive impact on the community.

Why It Matters

Recovery is a community project.

We provide more than a roof. We provide accountability, connection, and the practical structure that makes long-term sobriety possible. Donations help us serve more people in Toledo who need a safe, supportive place to begin again.
